She Becomes
Joy

Finding the Heavenly Joy in the Earthly Mess.
This past year brought a season I didn’t plan for. Brain surgery changed how I write — but it hasn’t changed what I believe about joy.
I’m still becoming. I’m still here. And I want to find it with you.

A New Chapter

“The messy, the memorable, the miracle-laced moments — this is where we learn to feel deeply, see fully, and fall into the joy God created us for. Even when the mess is a hospital gown.
— Juli
here is where my new journey starts

Hi friend,

A year ago, I had brain surgery. The words that used to pour out of me now come slowly, one at a time, like they’re learning to walk again.
But here’s what I’ve learned in the quiet: joy was never in the easy seasons. It was always hiding in the mess — in the bread rising on the counter, in my kids’ laughter down the hall, in the garden that kept growing whether I could write about it or not.
This space is me, learning to write again. One honest word at a time. I’d love for you to walk with me.

Stepping Into Joy

I had to check ‘YES’

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is check the box, say the word, take the step…

Cultivating Joy

‘Somewhere in your Silent Night’

A quiet reflection on the songs that carry us through the heaviest seasons of the heart…

Becoming Joy

“Thy Friends do stand by thee…”

On the people who show up, stay close, and hold the umbrella when the rain won’t stop…

the heart behind it

I See You.

My gift is to see the part of you that you don’t want others to see. I hear the words unsaid. I feel deeply. That gift doesn’t stop — not for surgery, not for hard seasons, not for anything.
You are not alone on this journey.

the journey continues

She was climbing.
Then came the forge.

Before the surgery, Juli was finding her voice — stepping into her gifts, discovering the depth of her own joy, quietly becoming someone the world needed to hear.
The surgery slowed the words. It didn’t slow the woman.
She is a joy multiplier — someone who doesn’t keep joy contained to a small circle. This space is the expansion. The relaunch. The next chapter of a story that isn’t finished.
“Fire doesn’t diminish you. It defines you. She is in the forge — and she is coming out on fire.”
